By the time I’d recovered this lounge suite chair, it had received 3 make-overs. From an early 60s look to formal elegance. What a transition!
When the untrained-eye sees a chair in this condition, it can be difficult to envisage its full potential.
Grandfather chair. Perfection in upholstery is difficult but I believe I’ve come very close.
A classic little antique chair. The previous upholsterer had padded and covered the diamond-buttoned back. Much to the owner’s delight, I restored it to its original glory.
A pet dog got a little bored and chewed a large hole in the inside back of this lounge.
